1. How do I order flowers for a funeral?
When placing an order for funeral flowers, you will need to provide the name of the deceased, the funeral home handling the details and the date of the service. In addition, you will need to have an idea for the size and type of flowers you wish to order. 2.What kind of flowers do I order for a funeral?
Traditionally, funeral flowers are all white flower arrangements however, choosing which flowers to send can be difficult and based on personal preference or a reflection of the loved one that has passed. We offer a variety of funeral flower arrangements with a variety of price points. Adorning the casket with a fresh floral casket spray, is typically chosen by the closest members of the family - spouse, children, siblings, and parents. Casket Sprays are beautifully designed arrangements of one or several types of flowers and sits on top of the casket. Full casket sprays are appropriate for closed caskets, and half casket sprays are appropriate for open casket services. Casket inserts and garlands are other floral designs that are sometimes ordered by the immediate family.
If you plan to send flowers to the service a standing spray, funeral wreath, floral heart, floral cross or a funeral basket will be taken from the service to the graveside. Floral hearts, floral crosses and wreaths are traditionally sent by family and close friends. Standing sprays and funeral wreaths are designed on an easel and are typically placed near the casket or urn. They are later taken to the cemetery where they will remain until the cemetery staff removes them from the gravesite.
Plants and fresh flower arrangements in glass vases will be given to the family after the service and are not taken to the cemetery.
If you plan to send flowers to the family’s home, a beautiful arrangement of fresh flowers in a vase, a Peace Lily, dish garden, or a food basket is appropriate. Dish gardens are customed made using green plants and/or flowering colorful plants and are planted in a ceramic dish or arranged in a basket with fresh moss. Dish gardens and plants are a very nice, long lasting option to send to the service or to the home.

3. How much should I pay for funeral flowers?
Typically, you can expect to pay approximately $60.00 - $90.00 for an average size fresh floral arrangement. Casket Sprays start at approximately $150 and go up in price based on size and flowers selected. If the casket is to remain open, money can be saved by ordering a half-sized Casket Spray.
Standing sprays, wreaths and crosses start at approximately $100 and go up in price based on the size and types of flowers selected.
If the deceased will be cremated, we can design a beautiful flower arrangement to compliment a framed photo or design a funeral urn arrangement. A funeral run arrangement starts at $100 and goes up in price based on size and flower choice.
